25 Days of Christmas, Day 11...Come, they told me (pa-rum-pa-pum-pum)

I am participating in a 25 Days of Christmas Photo Challenge. I am not posting my photos here on my blog, rather they are being posted on my Facebook wall, and with the private Facebook challenge group.

Today's photo was begging to be shared here on Polishing Mud Balls. Not because its a great photo or anything, but because The Little Drummer Boy is one my favorites. Did the little drummer boy exist? I don't know, probably not. Still, I love the idea of the little drummer boy beating his drum for baby Jesus, and I LOVE the song. Regardless if the little drummer boy was real or not, the song is meaningful; powerful.

I not only LOVE the song, especially Josh Groban's rendition, I also LOVE the classic tv show of The Little Drummer Boy (1968).

The Little Drummer Boy (1968) - Full movie on YouTube.

One last rendition to share - The Little Drummer Boy by the cast of Glee. I'm not a fan of Glee but their rendition is pretty darn good; my second favorite.

One of my favorite Christmas songs, too! Have you heard the Go Fish version? It's not tradition but fun. I get it stuck in my head often!

Oops...I meant "traditional."

Little drummer boy is one of my favourites even though for years I had no idea what they were saying. Sheldon Cooper on Big Bang recently sang it (on the show) he was actually pretty good.
