Week 1 - March 2
Monthly Readers - will read at least 1 -2 readers from our monthly selection (can be seen in sidebar as IG Monthly Book Focus)
Readers - The children will choose about 2 books per day from our shelf .
I will log our readers here. This log will be behind a day or two as it will be logged in the evening after our reading has been done.
Colors - Reviewing of Colors (red, blue, green, yellow, purple, brown, pink)
*Look for color "____"
* Pick-n-Choose - gather a muffin tin or egg carton and a bowl with small colored cereal pieces or colored goldfish. Place a colored piece in each compartment of tin or carton. Show how to pick one piece out at a time and place it in the compartment with others of the same color.
* Sort objects by color
Numbers - Route counting to 5
Science - Make A Face: use stickers to complete a face, Draw a face. Talk about the face parts.
Proprioceptive - Row boat
Wall push-ups
Vacuum
Speech - Speech homework (usual picture cards)
"Core Vocabulary" Book
Montessori type/Manipulative Activities (will choose 1-2 activities daily from the list)
- Using Clothes Pins (transferring objects from one container to another using the clothespins)
- Nuts and Bolts Play
- Puzzles
- Rag twisting (kitchen sink play)
Week 2 - March 9
Monthly Readers - will read at least 1 -2 readers from our monthly selection (can be seen in sidebar as IG Monthly Book Focus)
Reader - The children will choose about 2 books per day from our shelf .

Numbers - Route counting to 5
Science - Sink or Float with a Boat
Proprioceptive - Row boat
Washing Large Surface areas (floor or window)
Wringing out wash clothes in Kitchen Sink
Speech - Speech homework (usual picture cards)
"Core Vocabulary" Book
Montessori type/Manipulative Activities (will choose 1-2 activities daily from the list)
- Puzzles
- Playdough
- Movement: Utilizing Silkies move to music - wave silkies, walk slowly, run, tiptoe, march.
Week 3 - March 16

Egg Carton Counting - We will only go up to number 5

Animal Walks and wheelbarrow walk

Montessori type/Manipulative Activities (will choose 1-2 activities daily from the list)
- Working with Playdough
- Pounding

- Cutting Work . . . longer lines for Isaiah.

Numbers/Colors - Route counting to 5
** Clapping to 5
** Count 5 objects into a muffin tin using colored wood cubes - will pick 'n choose and label colors
Science - Magnifying Fingerprints
Proprioceptive - Row boat
Wall push-ups
Vaccum
Speech - Speech homework (usual picture cards)
"Core Vocabulary" Book
Montessori type/Manipulative Activities (will choose 1-2 activities daily from the list)
- Nuts and Bolts Play
- Puzzles
- Unwinding and Winding Yarn
- Pounding
- Tear, fold and paste a college (cake, heart, letter)
Week 5 - March 30
Spring Break - we will only do what is necessary...reading and therapy work

Looks like a great plan. I love the fingerprint activity. That looks really fun... we're gonna try that one!
Thanks Jody. I am hoping that by paring down my ideas...this plan will be even more doable with our schedule.
The Fingerprint activity does look cool...that is why I had to add it. Hopefully it will prove to be fun. :)
